Dear friends,
Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (E.0.0.A.) invites all the B.M.U member federations in order to participate in the General Assembly , which will take place in Meteora on 15-17/9/23.
Hellenic Federation covers 2 overnight accommodation with full board for 2 delegates from each federation. More representatives from each federation can participate by paying the cost of overnight accommodation and meals for 2 days (170 euros per person in a single room or 140 euros per person in a double room).
We also invite and offer two days free accommodation (with their own tent in camping) and one dinner in Saturday, for two climbers from each federation. Climbers can participate in any of the events of the Panhellenic Climbing Meeting they wish (schedule of events will be send you soon).
In Saturday’s events we propose to honor the memory of the deceased, Jovica Ugrinovski from North Macedonia, who was for many years president and founder of B.M.U. At the B.M.U General Assembly , we also invite the President and Secretary General of E.U.M.A and the President of E.R.A.
We will also send an invitation to the Balkan federations that have separate competitive sports, such as sport climbing, ski mountaineering and rock climbing generally, with the aim of establishing a Balkan Association for the purpose of coordinating sports and climbing activities in Balkan area. We will send an invitation to those that have separate federations. The federations that have the above activities in their ranks (Greece, Slovenia, Turkey, Albania, Montenegro) will be represented by the same representatives that will participate in the BMU General Assembly.
You are kindly requested to confirm your participation by July 25, because Hellenic Federation is closed throughout August due to summer vacation and there isn’t enough time in September that office opens.

14:00-18:00 B.M.U General Assembly
19:00 Transfer to Kastraki for events of the Panhellenic Climbing Meeting. (event for the deceased Jovica Ugrinovski)
21:00 Dinner in Kastraki

08:30 Hike on the trails of Meteora and visit the monasteries of Agia Triada
and Agios Stefanos (walking time:3-3:30′ hours, duration of visits to the monasteries:2 hours).
14:00 Lunch and departure of delegates.
