BMU Kilimanjaro expedition 2016
The fifth BMU joint expedition was realized to the highest peak of Africa, Uhuru peak (5895), mount Kilimanjaro, on January 20th. All sixteen mountaineers, members of BMU, in spite of the terrible weather conditions managed to reach the peak organized and guided by the experienced mountain guide Zivko Temelkovski member of the Macedonian Mountain Sports Federation (MMSF). This was his third climb to Kilimanjaro.
The expedition members were nine from Macedonia (Iskra Lazarova, Katica Borisovska, Ilija Belevski, Dimitar Malinovski, Aleksandar Nikolovski, Igor Stojkovik, Ivan Trpkov, Viktor Kalauzi), five from Albania (Kozeta Mustafaraj, Artur Guni, Anjeza Kalezi, Arben Shati, Klaudio Zotai), one from Serbia (Vladimir Gjorgjevic) and one from Slovenia/Austria (Ignas-Ivo Kraut).
